The Gladiators now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a 2A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, January 12. Italy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-46 non-league loss to Clifton (Clifton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-11.
The Wildcats (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Flyers come into the 2A Region III District 19 battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, LaPoynor edged Grandview (Grandview, TX), 78-61, in a non-league battle.
