Tennessee High School Basketball - Christian Brothers fells St. Benedict at Auburndale
January 9, 2024: Cordova, TN 38016 Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN), 63-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Christian Brothers upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Purple Wave travel to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to clash with the Saints in a Division II-AA West bout on Friday, January 12. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Briarcrest Christian won 66-51 in their recent league bout against Memphis University (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Memphis University Owls (Memphis, TN) in a Division II-AA West bout, on Friday, January 12. St. Benedict at Auburndale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 66-51 league loss to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN).
