Texas High School Basketball - Hico ripped by Lipan
January 9, 2024: Lipan, TX 76462 The Lipan Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Hico Tigers to 21 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tolar for a 2A Region II District 11 contest on Friday, January 12. Lipan will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 58-30 league loss to Poolville (Poolville, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 6-11.
The Tigers (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Santo (Santo, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region II District 11 contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Santo was routed by May (May, TX), 76-46, in a non-league contest.
