In Tuesday's league outing, the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mason Comets (Mason, OH), by a margin of 68-38.

The Firebirds (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hamilton (Hamilton, OH). The Big Blue go into the Greater Miami outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Hamilton smashed Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH), 54-48, in a league outing.

The Comets now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hills for a Greater Miami outing on Friday, January 12. Mason will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 54-48 league win over Princeton (Cincinnati, OH). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-5.
