Minnesota High School Basketball - Pequot Lakes tops Detroit Lakes
January 9, 2024: Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN), 49-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pequot Lakes upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Foley (Foley, MN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Foley won 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Little Falls (Little Falls, MN)
Next up, the Lakers play the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) in a AAA Section 8 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Detroit Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 80-25 league win over Rocori (Cold Spring, MN).
