The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC) and the host Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC), observed Andrew Jackson's basketball team overwhelm Buford by a margin of 73-27.

The Volunteers (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, South Florence trounced Lakewood (Sumter, SC), 55-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Buford will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The NightHawks come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 78-62 league win over UR Academy (Gastonia, NC).
