In Thursday's league contest, the visiting New Kent Trojans basketball team scored a big 51-30 win over the Smithfield Packers.

The Trojans (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions come into the Bay Rivers contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Warhill was trounced by Grafton (Yorktown, VA), 49-30, in a league contest.
