Washington High School Basketball - Rogers can't hold off Olympia
January 9, 2025: Puyallup, WA 98373 Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA), 41-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Olympia advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bears host Sumner (Sumner, WA) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 11-1. Sumner won 60-23 in their recent non-league match against Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA)
The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yelm for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. Rogers will face a Tornados squad coming off a 55-19 non-league loss to South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Tornados record now stands at 1-10.
