Texas High School Basketball - Clyde trounces Grape Creek
January 10, 2023: Clyde, TX 79510 The Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Grape Creek Eagles (San Angelo, TX), 79-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region I District 6 test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Jim Ned walloped Merkel (Merkel, TX), 52-38, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Ballinger for a 3A Region I District 6 test on Friday, January 13. Grape Creek will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 68-22 league loss to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-12.
