The Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC) basketball nipped the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 50-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bobcats (10-3) will now prepare for their test against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, James Island got by Colleton County (Walterboro, SC), 67-30, in a league test.

The Seahawks now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 test on Friday, January 13. Hilton Head Island will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 66-31 league win over May River (Bluffton, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 7-4.
