The Central Eagles basketball team (Pageland, SC), was toppled 45-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Central for a AA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 17.

The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Monroe beat Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 51-45, in a league battle.
