January 10, 2025: Watertown, NY 13601 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY) and the host Immaculate Heart Central Cavaliers (Watertown, NY), observed Beaver River's basketball team overwhelm Immaculate Heart Central by a score of 80-42.
The Beavers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Thousand Islands (Clayton, NY). The Vikings come into the Section 3 Frontier C challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Thousand Islands was routed by Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY), 52-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Immaculate Heart Central will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Weedsport (Weedsport, NY).
