Oregon High School Basketball - Douglas knocks off St. Mary's
January 10, 2025: Winston, OR 97496 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) and the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), observed Douglas's basketball team overcome St. Mary's by a score of 51-42.
The Trojans (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils come into the 3A Far West challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Coquille dropped by Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR), 65-18, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) in a 3A Southern Oregon challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 43-35 league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR).
