Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 58-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lincoln Southeast advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Knights host Westview (Omaha, NE) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 10-1. Westview won 94-38 in their recent league match against Bryan (Omaha, NE)

The Silver Hawks now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Omaha Westside for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. Lincoln Southwest will face a Warriors squad coming off a 63-41 non-league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 10-1.
