New York High School Basketball - Wells holds off Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central
January 10, 2025: Wells, NY 12190 The Wells Wells CSD basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central Orange to 34 in the Wells CSD league triumph on Friday.
The Wells CSD now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Keene Central for a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II game on Monday, January 13. Wells will confront a Beavers team coming off a 32-30 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY). The Beavers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Orange host Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Knights go into the game with a record of 5-4.
