California High School Basketball - Tamalpais triumphant over San Marin
January 10, 2025: Novato, CA 94945 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) and the host San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA), observed Tamalpais's basketball team overwhelm San Marin by a score of 73-40.
The Red Tailed Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Terra Linda trounced Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA), 59-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. San Marin will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 52-31 league win over Piner (Santa Rosa, CA).
