The Central Eagles basketball team (Pageland, SC), was overwhelmed 52-22 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC)

The Redhawks now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Hills for a 2A/3A Conference 44 battle on Friday, January 13. Monroe will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-10.
