January 11, 2023: Toppenish, WA 98948 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles (Toppenish, WA) and the visiting Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA), saw Yakama Nation Tribal's basketball squad wallop Liberty Christian by a tally of 51-23.
With the victory, Yakama Nation Tribal improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Touchet (Touchet, WA) to confront the Indians in a 1B Southeast challenge on Friday, January 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Touchet lost 48-10 in their recent league challenge against Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Prescott Tigers (Prescott, WA) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, January 13. Liberty Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 70-7 non-league loss to Yakama Nation Tribal (Toppenish, WA).
