The Veritas Christian Eagles (Lawrence, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions (Kansas City, MO), 32-31 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Wichita HomeSchool (Wichita, KS). The Warriors go into the Kansas Christian AA test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Wichita HomeSchool was tipped by Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS), 61-45, in a non-league test.
