January 11, 2025: Mansfield, OH 44907 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mansfield Christian Flames (Mansfield, OH) and the visiting South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH), observed Mansfield Christian's basketball team overwhelm South Central by a score of 58-16.
The Flames (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Hillsdale was routed by Norwayne (Creston, OH), 54-2, in a league bout.
With the loss, South Central falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH) to play the Eagles in a Firelands bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Monroeville won 72-46 in their recent league bout against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH)
