Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 59-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Santa Fe Trail upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Chapman (Chapman, KS) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Anderson County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
