Maryland High School Basketball - North Point overwhelms Great Mills

January 12, 2024: Great Mills, MD 20634

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), saw North Point's basketball squad wallop Great Mills by a tally of 63-38.

With the victory, North Point improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Hornets confront the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Great Mills will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 67-14 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD).
