Texas High School Basketball - Pollok Central holds off Pineywoods Community Academy
January 12, 2024: Pollok, TX 75969 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) and the visiting Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves (Lufkin, TX), saw Pollok Central's basketball squad hold off Pineywoods Community Academy by a tally of 49-42.
With the victory, Pollok Central improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Newton (Newton, TX) to confront the Eagles in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Pineywoods Community Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
