Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Gondoliers face the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Venice will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.

The Lions now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Palisades for a test on Friday, January 20.
