January 13, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC), saw North Mecklenburg's basketball squad overcome Weddington by a tally of 38-27.
With the victory, North Mecklenburg improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Weddington will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record.
