Nevada High School Basketball - Faith Lutheran nips Desert Oasis

In Monday's league contest, the host Faith Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored a close 42-37 win over the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks.

The Crusaders (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Southern contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Centennial edged Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV), 87-23, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Diamondbacks battle the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Desert Oasis will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 45-12 league win over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV).
