January 13, 2025: Nettleton, MS 38858 The Nettleton Tigers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Houston Hilltoppers to 2 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Booneville for a 1A Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 16.
With the loss, Houston moves to 2-10 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to encounter the Cavaliers in a 4A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
