Illinois High School Basketball - Conant holds off Dundee-Crown
January 14, 2023: Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), saw Conant's basketball squad hold off Dundee-Crown by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Conant improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Naperville North lost 53-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Chargers confront the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Dundee-Crown will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 72-36 non-league win over Marengo (Marengo, IL).
