The Branchville Yellow Jackets basketball squad (Branchville, SC), was outscored 56-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC)

With the victory, Military Magnet Academy advances its record to 6-11 on the year. The Eagles host St. John's (John's Island, SC) to meet the Islanders in a A Region 5 battle on Friday, January 17. The Islanders enter the battle with a record of 1-13. St. John's lost 62-43 in their recent league battle against Scott's Branch (Summerton, SC)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethune-Bowman for a A Region 5 battle on Friday, January 17. Branchville will meet a Mohawks squad coming off a 65-34 league win over Cross (Cross, SC). The Mohawks record now stands at 11-5.
