The Decatur Central Hawks basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host Speedway Sparkplugs to 46 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15.

With the loss, Speedway falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Sparkplugs travel to Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Saints in a Indiana Crossroads game on Tuesday, January 21. The Saints go into the game with a record of 2-6.
