Kansas High School Basketball - Frankfort knocks off Doniphan West
January 14, 2025: Frankfort, KS 66427 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Frankfort Wildcats (Frankfort, KS) and the visiting Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS), observed Frankfort's basketball team overcome Doniphan West by a score of 54-45.
The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS). The Mustangs come into the Twin Valley bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Valley Heights gained a win over Washington County (Washington, KS), 60-51, in a league bout.
With the loss, Doniphan West falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Axtell (Axtell, KS) to play the Eagles in a Twin Valley bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Axtell won 71-36 in their recent league bout against Onaga (Onaga, KS)
