The May River Sharks defeated the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks basketball squad by a final score of 61-49 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Sharks clash with the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 outing, on Friday, January 17. May River will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 1-12 record after their 64-55 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
