In Tuesday's league test, the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) basketball squad defeated the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), by a final score of 63-43.

Next, the Fighting Green Hornets clash with the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 test, on Friday, January 17. Aiken will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The War Eagles come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 54-23 league win over South Aiken (Aiken, SC).

The Mustangs (3-12) will now prepare for their test against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, South Aiken overcame Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC), 24-22, in a non-league test.
