The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) and the host Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), observed North Johnston's basketball team overcome Franklin Academy by a score of 49-29.

The Panthers (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Bruins come into the 2A Neuse challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Beddingfield dropped by Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 75-34, in a league challenge.
