Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn-Trafford thwarts Greater Latrobe
January 15, 2024: Harrison City, PA 15636 The Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 51-40 in Monday's league test.
The Warriors (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Cavaliers go into the WPIAL 5A 3 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Kiski Area notched a victory over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA), 70-59, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Greater Latrobe will battle a Gators team coming off a 58-48 league win over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Gators record now stands at 11-1.
