North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Pointe Academy thwarts Lee Park Prep

January 16, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110

The Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC) basketball knocked off the host Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC), 72-64 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mariners (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Cramerton Christian Academy went down by Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC), 60-53, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anne Catholic for a Metro Area test on Tuesday, January 17. Lee Park Prep will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 60-41 league loss to NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
