Woodward Bulldogs (Cincinnati, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI), 68-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Woodward upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Aiken (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Falcons in a Cincinnati Metro bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Aiken lost 87-51 in their recent league bout against Taft (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) in a Michigan Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 17. River Rouge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 47-45 non-league win over West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI).
