North Carolina High School Basketball - Hilltop Christian overwhelms Bethel Christian Academy
January 16, 2024: Kinston, NC 28504 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the host Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC), saw Hilltop Christian's basketball squad wallop Bethel Christian Academy by a tally of 63-40.
With the victory, Hilltop Christian improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Southside Christian (Clayton, NC) to confront the Warriors in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 challenge on Monday, January 22. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 80-49 non-league loss to Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC).
