South Carolina High School Basketball - Northwestern crushes York

Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host York Cougars (York, SC), 71-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwestern upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Trojans host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 19. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 6-12. South Pointe lost 75-44 in their recent league bout against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 19. York will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 78-47 league loss to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC).
