The Strom Thurmond Rebels ran past the host Pelion Panthers basketball team by a final score of 61-45 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC) in a AA Region 3 game, on Friday, January 19. Strom Thurmond will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-9 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to McCormick (McCormick, SC).
