The Floresville Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Somerset Bulldogs to 16 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearsall for a 4A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 19. Floresville will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 40-27 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 7-16.

The Bulldogs (8-21) will now prepare for their contest against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX). The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) enter the 4A Region IV District 29 contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Uvalde was routed by Devine (Devine, TX), 59-25, in a league contest.
