In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish basketball team scored a good 51-43 win over the Archbishop Hoban Knights.

The Fighting Irish (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Fairfield, OH). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Fairfield was topped by Princeton (Cincinnati, OH), 59-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Solon Comets (Solon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Archbishop Hoban will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record.
