Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), 70-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Mill upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Clover (Clover, SC) to play the Blue Eagles in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 20. The Blue Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-10. Clover lost 47-46 in their recent league bout against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 20. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 60-50 league win over Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC).
