Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN), 74-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Crown Point upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Griffith (Griffith, IN) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 9-4. Griffith won 50-40 in their recent league match against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN)

The Pirates now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Munster for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Merrillville will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-31 league win over Highland (Highland, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.
