In Friday's league test, the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) basketball squad got by the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), by a final score of 56-52.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Charlotte Performance Institute Coyotes (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to Winston Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Bishops (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Peninsula Catholic held off Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 79-29, in a league test.
