Texas High School Basketball - Stony Point overwhelms Vista Ridge

The Stony Point Tigers basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Vista Ridge Rangers to 41 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to McNeil for a 6A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 21. Stony Point will play a Mavericks team coming off a 65-37 league loss to Round Rock (Round Rock, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-22.

With the loss, Vista Ridge falls to 13-14 on the campaign. The Rangers host Vandegrift (Austin, TX) to play the Vipers in a 6A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Vipers go into the game with a record of 18-9. Vandegrift lost 61-50 in their recent league game against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)
