Daniel Lions (Central, SC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), 53-28 in a league match.

With the victory, Daniel advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Lions host Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC) to face the Blues in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Blues enter the match with a record of 14-4. Asheville School (Independent) won 81-5 in their recent non-league match against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC)

The Fighting Tigers now own a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greer for a AAAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 21.
