North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee Park Prep triumphant over Sheets Memorial Christian

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles (Lexington, NC), observed Lee Park Prep's basketball team overwhelm Sheets Memorial Christian by a margin of 74-11.

The Knights (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Charlotte (Matthews, NC). The Thunder come into the non-league challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, South Charlotte was trounced by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 59-10, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sheets Memorial Christian will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 26-2 league loss to Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC).
