The Vardaman Rams (Vardaman, MS) basketball edged the host West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS), 57-50 in Friday's league bout.

The Rams now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Water Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 18. Vardaman will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-41 non-league loss to Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-12.
