January 18, 2023: St. James, MO 65559 The St. James Tigers (St. James, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO), 59-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Licking (Licking, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record.
The Cougars now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Lutheran will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 91-16 league win over Cordova (Cordova, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-4.
